Production is done in minimal quantities in Germany. Only what is actually needed is produced, thus preventing overproduction.

We knit directly into shape. Even the fundamental manufacturing method is indicative of the brand's mindful approach. The yarn is knitted directly into the textile surface that forms the product.

Merino wool forms the basis of every product: a high-quality, renewable raw material with natural warmth, softness, and durability. Each cuff consists of a single material. Products without a mix of raw materials are easier to recycle at the end of their life cycle because no complex separation of different components is necessary – one of the biggest hurdles in the textile cycle.

Anklings is already developing products that are prepared for upcoming legal requirements for textiles at the EU level and thinks in circular approaches. Not because legislation is around the corner, but because it makes sense.
